Palmistry is the practice of reading the shape and colour
of the fingers, thumbs and hands and the lines on them. Palmistry is made up of
two practices: chirognomy, this is the practice of reading the colour and shape
of the hands, fingers and thumbs; chiromancy, the practice of reading the lines
in the hand. In more recent times two other practices have been added to the
practice of palmistry. Dermatoglyphics, the
study of the finger print patterns and body language, reading the signals conveyed
by the positioning and movements generated by a person’s body. All these practices together help to identify not only a person's character, but their past and present experiences and how they have impacted on them as a person now. Also how they will develop as a person in the future and the direction in which their life will go. Other things like finances, health, past lives and spirituality can also be identified from these practices.
